I mentioned before how I serve more than just Loki. Serving more than one deity is just too amazing for words, I can't accurately describe it nor the perks.
However, it has its downsides....For starters, there's Hades. Hades, while not forceful (with me at least), is a bit pushy. Hades keeps pestering me about his shrine (regardless of the size, he just wants one) while Loki, Athena, and Artemis could care less. I keep having to remind him that it won't be done just yet and that I'll do Loki's first since, not only is he my Patron....but his will probably end up being, by far, the less costly of the four to make. (for his mini shrine I maybe spent.....$38 when all was said and done...not that it matters, just an example....that's cheap compared to what I could have done)
Loki, on the other hand, is pushing me (okay more like demanding at times) for me to get up and straighten up my life so I can do more devotional things. Naturally....I'm going to go with Loki on this one. My life is screwed up, I need to fix that. And no, by no means is it the worst kind of screwed up. While, yes, previous choices have led to this point....I'm not talking drugs or the like, more like I went in over my head on a couple things. I will be the first to admit I made mistakes like that and I'm doing my best to fix it (sorry about the slight rant, I've had people get on my case about it before....). Loki is kicking my butt on this and, while still showing me the right path, is still throwing his tests at me, seeing if I'm ready for what lies ahead. This is why I believe, no, I know Loki is awesome.
And by no means am I asking for help. This is quite simply something I find slightly amusing and wanted to share.
Have a wonderful day...or night...wherever you are.

It's All a Learning Process
While having been Pagan for a few years now, I can honestly say one thing. It's a learning process that never ends. Constantly, you are learning what works and what doesn't, what goes where and why....
With Loki, it's even more so because he has specific lessons he wants you to learn. It took me a while to figure out how to say this, but I finally did the other day.
Loki expects nothing of his followers, but also expects everything from them.
Take a moment to let that sink in; notice how completely contradictory it is. It's hard to wrap your mind around it, isn't it? It's something that you learn when following him, often right off the bat, and once you do...it's hard to explain the calmness, the closeness you'll feel, the freedom that you can sense in the back of your mind...It's awesome, but scary at the same time. Just one of those feelings.
I'm not going to go into details just yet of what that means, I want you to mull it over in your head to see what you can come up with. You don't have to comment, but just think it over.
With that, I leave you for the night. I hope the day finds you well

My Patrons and More
Having a Patron deity is amazing and having more than one has certainly been an experience. After being pagan for a couple of years, I was more or less 'claimed' by Athena. Athena was my first patron, after that I went to Artemis and Hades both and now I 'belong' to Loki.
Loki is my main Patron, and to be honest one of my favorites. He's not demanding in any sort of way so long as you honor him and his family. He tests me every chance he gets, I feel proud when I pass his tests. I don't feel sorrow when I fail, his tests, pass or fail, are lessons. Either way I learn and grow stronger, more confidant.
I still serve the other three, though not as much anymore.
I'm proud to be Lokean, I feel.....at home.
On another hand, I'll be posting things here about my online shop, things I'm making, experienced, and possibly more. I might post suggestions for books or websites for those interested.
I don't pretend to know what I'm doing; I'm throwing myself into what could become a terrible mess at this point, but the ride will, hopefully, be fun on the way.
Also to note, I have never really been this open about my beliefs so if I seem withdrawn, I do apologize.
Have a wonderful Day/Evening/Night wherever you may be

Welcome!
Welcome to The Pagan Heart. This place is for pagan posts, questions, anything. I created this on whim, wanting to be more open about my pagan beliefs without it going too far
I have been a pagan for a few years, starting with Wicca. Now I consider myself just 'pagan' instead of one thing or another. I have found a patron deity to work through. I'll get more into that soon, I promise.
My patron isn't the only deity I serve. I serve 3 others along side him but not to such an extent.
I hope you all enjoy the future posts.
Have a great day!
